Varsity Letter Jackets: A Manifestation Of Acceptance And Individualism

The younger generation nowadays are all about leaving an impression. They try to manifest their individuality with a lot of new things. A lot of their possessions are reflections of their personalities. One way to really express themselves is with their choice of clothing and apparels. When before these jackets were synonymous with sports, today it is a manifestation of identity. Students wear them proudly to represent their schools during any events. These jackets have been the remarkable uniforms of that 20 piece choir that is representing the university, they are the emblem of the math enthusiasts as they mentally prepare for that ultimate battle of wits, or the marching band as they proudly beat their drums at the basketball team’s victory. Whatever the purpose for wearing the jackets may be, it only conveys one very important thing and that is to represent their school and demonstrate team pride.

Wearing varsity jackets is a sure way of making a very good impression. Not only does it protect you from many elements such as rain, cold wind and dust but it can also be a representation of your personality.
