Recommended shops in Manhattan?

I’m from Scotland, and I’m going to New York on holiday in March. I was just wondering which shops you guys would recommend going to in Manhattan? Here in the UK, my favourite shop is Topshop & most of my clothes are indeed purchased there, so is there any shops selling kind of similiar styled clothing? Is there any good Japanese shops? Which sell Japanese-style clothing, manga, anime etc etc etc? What about band merchandise stores? Anybody know where I could buy a NeverShoutNever! T-shirt? I doubt it, but it’s worth a try, lol. What other shops would you recommend I have a look in?
