How can I not be sad when marching band is over?
Marching band season is going to be over in 2 weeks and its really getting me sad. Marching band has turned into my life and I’ve grown so close to many people in it. It’s going to be really hard not seeing everyone and having practices. How can I cheer myself up and not be so sad when the season is over? Is anyone else sad when marching band is over? What do you do to help get over it?
I too am terrified of marching season being over. Concert band is still band for me, but its just not the same you know? so when i am down about the season being over, i just think about how i will still be with all of my band buddies for concert band season. i also concentrate on playing the music [cause thats what i love] it helps me count down the time untill the next marching season starts!
I know that your sad to see it go [as am i, my season ends this saturday...] but just look on the bright side. youve still got the same buddies, and you can still perform, just sitting in a chair! Lol
