Flute to Bari Sax?(13 Years old)?

I’m 13 and in 8th grade and I’ve been playing flute for about 5 years. I’m in high school marching band and I play piano and viola to, but I really want to play baritone sax. I have really good air and embouchure but everyone tells me im to small for a Bari and I should start on Alto but I really want to do Bari. Does my size really matter, I plan on taking lessons ofcoure but yeah, Thanks!

You should go for it, but if you’ve never played sax before an Alto might be good to get your fingers used to the keys- but a Bari is COOL!
