Even though the basic style of color guard uniforms is pretty much the same, the colors and patterns will vary depending on the school colors and what the color guard unit and the band all decide on. The color guard is often considered an extension of the band.

If you are a member of the color guard you will need to purchase and select the necessary uniforms. If the color guard has been around for a while, chances are that the color guard uniforms already exist. They tend to get handed down from one team to the next. But sometimes people opt to keep their uniforms and that means that each year, people will have to choose new uniforms.

Color guard uniforms can be quite fun. They are designed to look official and also be comfortable enough to move around in. They would also have the colors of your school. If you have pretty standard school colors you may be able to find color guard uniforms second hand or pre maid. But if you want to purchase custom uniforms, you will need to order these enough in advance to allow them enough time to come in.

There are several places where you can purchase color guard uniforms. Your school may have a standard distributor that they use for all of their uniforms. Or, they may already have uniforms in mind. You can also purchase them online or from second hand shops. And, it may even be possible to rent the color guard uniforms out. This is a good option especially if you only need them once or twice.

The color guard is the member of the band that holds the flag. Not only do the proper procedures need to be followed, but there also needs to be a proper and official uniform that matches the school colors. Shop around and look for the best prices on uniforms or use the distributor that your school uses to get the uniforms.
